The Department of Studies, Information Technology, and Forest Data Bank operating in the Management of the Bureau for Forest Management and Geodesy provides modern IT solutions for the needs of the Enterprise’s production activities and implemented projects. The department develops tools supporting the implementation of basic activities in the field of forestry (forest management, environmental expert reports, soil and habitat studies, and other work related to planning, design, and monitoring of forest resources of the country). The department also provides IT services necessary for the Bureau’s operations.

The Department maintains on commission for the State Forests National Forest Holding a data warehouse – Forest Data Bank, along with a system for providing public information on forest areas. It also manages The Bureau’s archival data assets.
