Knowledge about of Polish forests, both current and historical, should be available to all those interested in the fate and condition of native forest stands. With this in mind, the Forest Data Bank (www.bdl.lasy.gov.pl/portal/en) was created. It is the first web portal providing extensive forest data resources in the form of various maps, summaries, reports and analyses, available to everyone. The data, especially the maps, can serve you to spend an interesting time in the bosom of Polish nature, as they contain a lot of information about its diversity and uniqueness. The knowledge you can explore using the portal will help you get to know Polish forests better and understand the processes that take place in them. Thanks to this, every field trip can be an interesting adventure and discovery of unknown corners of the Polish natural heritage. The Forest Data Bank is also available in the form of an application for your mobile device. Download it for free from our website.
